Shooting Brake

Check out the newest camper project!
Its a kennel....its a picnic tailgater....its a English style shooting brake designed for a plantation near Charleston SC for quail hunting.
Dogs in the fan cooled cabin area that's clad in aluminum and rinse able with a drain, aluminum screened door, water container on the tongue for the dogs to drink and cool down after the hunt, shotgun mounts over the fenders, and all the accoutrements to prep and cook quail over open fire after the hunt.
Now that's living!

Painted Herbal Cabinet

I want to show off a friend of mine's artistic abilities. Chrissy Stanley is an outstanding artist and she has helped me create numerous projects that otherwise wouldn't have been nearly as beautiful had I not included her in the project.
Photos are of a re-purposed cabinet that was about to end up in a basement full of paint cans.
Snails may not be everyone's taste but personally it couldn't have come off better ....and truthfully how many snails have you seen slime gold leaf?

Charleston Forge designs

Here's another design I did for the folks at Charleston Forge.
Along with this introduction I help them reinvent the feel and texture of their wood tops by hand scraping and hand rubbing their finishes.
To me, it really brought together the feel of the iron and the wood into a total package.
Retreat Cocktail Table from Charleston Forge!
Hand wrought iron and a hand planed oak top with a hand applied and rubbed antique finish. Very nice!.
This is a very weighty piece that can hold its own in a big room. Retreat Cocktail Table

Our Designs at Charleston Forge

Here's a new design that I did for Charleston Forge. I think it turned out great. It has really different alligatored finish on the top that we developed at Charleston Forge.
Please buy one or recommend one to a friend because my wife wants to go on a trip!

A Very Proud Moment

This has to be one of the most proudest moments of my design career. When Orvis put the Woodie Camper on the front cover, then nice spread on the inside and a very well done video we couldn't believe it!

I have to thank Brett Ference at Orvis for believing us and for his modeling abilities which I bowed out of. The video is much more palatable with out me in it.
